FROM TENSION
TO EASE

Two Friday evenings to move, breathe, release and reset.

September 18 & 25 | 7:00–8:30
with Luke Ketterhagen at MoveStudio Dallas

We spend a lot of time learning how to do more. Push harder. Keep going. Hold it together.

But how much time do we spend learning how to let go?

Join Luke for one Friday—or experience the complete two-part series at a discounted package price.

Prefer to attend just one? Explore the individual workshops below.

Where do you hold it?

Your jaw? Your shoulders? Your neck? Your low back?
Your hips?

Stress doesn't just live in our heads. Our bodies respond by bracing, gripping and holding,
often before we even realize we're doing it.

From Tension to Ease is a two-part exploration of those patterns through yoga, breath training, meditation and deep relaxation.

Each Friday stands on its own. Together, they create a more complete experience.

FRIDAY ONE · SEPTEMBER 18, 2026

Clenched jaw. Shoulders creeping toward your ears. That knot between your shoulder blades that never quite goes away.

This evening turns our attention to the places where so many of us carry the weight of the day: our neck, shoulders, and upper back.

Through accessible yoga, breath practices, meditation, and guided relaxation, explore the relationship between stress, breathing and upper-body tension—and discover practical ways to let some of it go.

FRIDAY TWO · SEPTEMBER 25

Ground & Unwind:
Lower Back and Hips

Sometimes stress doesn't creep upward. Instead, we brace.

The low back tightens. The hips feel restricted. Sitting, repetitive movement and the demands of everyday life leave the lower body feeling like it never quite lets go.

Turn your attention downward through mindful yoga, breath awareness, meditation and deep relaxation designed to cultivate greater mobility, groundedness and ease.

TWO FRIDAYS.
ONE COMPLETE EXPERIENCE.

WHY CHOOSE JUST ONE?

The body doesn't divide itself into an upper half and a lower half,
and neither does stress.

Experience From Tension to Ease as Luke designed it: two complementary evenings exploring patterns of tension throughout the body.

Both workshops at a discounted package price!

AN OPPORTUNITY TO STUDY WITH LUKE KETTERHAGEN

What do you do when life feels like 250 tons coming down on you?

You probably can't move the boulder.

But you can change how you meet it.

That's an idea at the heart of Luke Ketterhagen's approach to yoga. After decades of study, practice and teaching, Luke's work goes well beyond what happens in a yoga pose. He draws on movement, breath, meditation and the wisdom of the Himalayan Tradition to help students develop practical tools for navigating the very real pressures of everyday life.

A longtime faculty member of the Himalayan Institute and featured teacher with Yoga International, Luke has taught students around the world through classes, retreats, workshops and teacher trainings.

His teaching asks us to explore a different response to stress: Can we become steadier without becoming rigid? Can we meet pressure without automatically bracing against it? Can we find greater ease even when the weight itself doesn't go away?

That's the exploration Luke brings to From Tension to Ease.

Whether you've practiced yoga for decades or you're still figuring out which end of the mat goes where, you're welcome here.

There are no complicated poses to master and nothing to prove.

Come curious. Come ready to move and breathe. And give yourself 90 minutes—or two Friday evenings—to explore what it feels like to carry a little less.

“To learn about yoga is to learn that you are responsible for yourself — for your own happiness, your own well-being, your own becoming.”
