This Movement Intelligence class will help you become more aware of your body and how you use it in your everyday life, with the goal of eliminating movements that waste your energy and cause discomfort, injury, and/or chronic pain.


Explore the inherent wisdom of the body during movement. In infancy, we explore movement and figure out ways to move to things we want to touch. Our tiny bodies figure out the best way for ourselves to reach our goal. As we grow, we often forget these efficient pathways, pick up undesirable habits, and by the time we're adults, we have lost contact with that wisdom. 

Tap into your inherent wisdom by using movement awareness techniques from Bartenieff Fundamentals℠, Alexander Technique, and the Feldenkrais Method®. With slow, gentle floor work, you will create efficient movement pathways that work for your body.

About the instructor: Sue Dado has a BA in dance teaching and choreography, and certifications in Power Pilates and Yoga. Throughout her career and through continued education, she has a great amount of exposure to movement awareness techniques such as Bartenieff Fundamentals℠, the Feldenkrais Method®, and the Alexander technique. Through gentle movements, she hopes to help people learn more about their bodies and find new, efficient ways of moving in everyday activities to create ease in the body.
